Editorial: cytokine inhibition for treatment of Alzheimer's disease

This editorial, by a well-respected expert on the mechanisms of molecular inflammation in Alzheimer's disease, was commissioned to discuss our pilot study, which was the first article in the medical literature to report the use of perispinal administration of a biologic TNF antagonist for Alzheimer's:
